"The breakfast was good, with the bacon being very tasty and as bacon always used to be, the sausages were full of flavour as were the vine tomatoes. The eggs were free range and full of colour. The bread was home baked, both granary and white and very good."
'Old Favourites National Award' from Alastair Sawdays
The winners of the Old Favourites national award are shining examples of B&Bs that have stood the test of time and remained firm favourites with Sawday's guests. Tim and Lucy, at The Old Forge, Fanners Yard, have been with us since the very beginning and have remained a firm favourite, ‘Naturals at the B&B game’, according to one delighted guest.”
